Contest to learn about Dang Thuy Tram’s Diaries sponsored by OSC Vietnam

The Contest was jointly held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos, the Vietnamese Ministry of Information & Communications and the Vietnamese Cultural Center in Laos.

The aim of the Contest was to mobilize the Laotian youth as well as the Vietnamese youth who are now living and working in Laos to read about the Diaries of Dang Thuy Tram, and to share their point of view on national issues through which their sense of responsibility to the Motherland and their awareness of revolutionary traditions would be inspired.

After 3 months from the start of the campaign, the Board of Organization received 2,300 exam works in different forms such as book reading, story telling and writing to express their own thoughts and feelings about the heroic example of Dang Thuy Tram.

5 candidates who won the special prizes and 1 member of the Board of Organization were awarded a 7 day trip worth of 75 million VND (equivalent to 3 million Kip) to Ha Noi and Quang Ngai Province , the hometown of Dang Thuy Tram. The trip was totally sponsored by The National Oil Services Company of Vietnam Limited (OSC Vietnam).
